Turkeys

I live in a condominium in Taunton, Massachusetts. Behind the condominium is a large area of woods, and we have had a flock of turkeys coming almost every day, both morning and evening. At first they were eating leftover bird seed on the ground from under my feeders and now one of my neighbors is placing out corn for them. The turkeys, despite being around people are still very nervous, and when we come out to view them, even though we are on a high back porch, they run into the woods. Last year I only saw them during the deep snows when they were coming looking for food.
