I am down in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas at an Alan Murphy Photo Workshop,(www.alanmurphyphotography.com) learning field techniques of bird photography. It is a small group of four photographers and we are located on a ranch outside of Roma Texas. We are learning how to do setups and using blinds to obtain the best photographs of target species. The first day has been already outstanding with me not only obtaining great photos but adding 7 new species of birds to my life list. As I stated in my last blog I will be adding more both daily and after I arrive home next week.
