Something else to photograph in Yellowstone other than the animals and landscapes are the 1930s White Motor Company 14-passenger National Park Bus. A number of these have been restored and refurbished and put back into service to give guided tours of the park. These buses were phased out a service up to the late 60s and early 70s. 2007 was a year that the old yellow bus returned to Yellowstone. Each of the vehicles has its original Yellowstone Park Transportation Company number on it.
Her is the back of one of the new Yellow Buses –not as interesting. Photo taken from the van as bison are walking up the road and tying up the traffic
I love this old, yellow bus. It fits well in Yellowstone. It looks so vintage and so lovely. Another reason to backpack in Yellowstone.
