In the previous blog, I wrote that we were surveying the piping plovers at Allens Pond so here are photos of the piping plovers. Because the day was foggy and occasionally misty, in order to get the shutter speed that I wanted, I had to push my ISO to 1250, I used my Nikon D 800, my Nikon 70-20 2.8 lens with a 2X converter on it, and utilized a monopod.
This series of pictures shows piping plover chicks going under an adult's body.
