Happy Birthday to Abby

Today's blog is a change from the usual. We celebrated my great granddaughters sixth birthday so here are some snapshots of the occasion.

Yesterday Abby and her dad baked a cake and today she is putting the frosting on it.

Then we went outside, where Abby tried on her new rollerblades and went rollerblading.

Returning inside finish decorating the cake, then when the family arrived she opened her presence, blew out the candles on her cake, she then insisted on cutting the cake and then enjoyed it.

She then spent time playing with her new toys.

A Birthday and Holiday Greetings

On Saturday, December 8, my great-granddaughter Abby turned five years old.  One of my sons, her father and I picked her up and for her birthday took her rollerskating with a couple of her friends.  An enjoyable day was had by all.

Afterwards, we travel to Cape Neddick Light, otherwise known as Nubble Light in York, Maine to photograph the lighthouse, as it is lit up for the holiday season, and to use as a greeting card.
