Seabirds from "Seabirds and Whales Tales" Excursion

Sooty Shearwater
In today's blog, I am going to do some catch up.  I have already posted the pictures of the whales from the "Seabirds and Whales Tales" excursion and here are pictures of some of the birds that we saw.

On the trip down to Chatham, there was not a lot of birds seen.  However, at Chatham around where the whales were feeding, we identified three species of shearwaters, two species of Jaegers, a black tern, and the usual species of gulls, and terns.
