Come to the opening of my art exhibit entitled "Photographing Our Natural World" on Saturday, July 5 from 2 to 5 PM at Allens Pond Massachusetts Audubon Sanctuary Stone Barn. There will be photographs from my film days along with photographs from the digital age.

There will be a continuous slideshow showing most of the birds that the Allens Pond Bird-a-thon group found this year

At 3:30 PM, 1 will present a talk on photographing our natural world and locations that I have been both near and far. What makes our natural world interesting is that it is ever-changing, and never can be the same twice. Yes, mountains may not change, but the sky, clouds and light to change and makes a different subject. Although I have traveled to different locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Costa Rica. Our natural world occurs right around our houses. You just have to open your eyes and you can see the beauty of our world.

Refreshments will be served, photographs will be available for sale with a portion of their price will be given as a donation to Allens Pond to help with programs and education.

Directions:
To Sanctuary Entrance at Stone Barn Farm
From Interstate 195, in Westport, take Exit 10 (Rt 88 South). Follow Route 88 for 7.2 miles through three lights to intersection with Hixbridge Rd at 4th light. Turn left onto Hixbridge Rd and proceed 1.5 miles to stop sign at Pine Hill Rd and Horseneck Rd. Turn right onto Horseneck Rd. Proceed 3.3 miles to corner with East Horseneck Rd and turn left. Stone Barn Farm entrance will be 0.4 miles further on your right at 786 E. Horseneck Rd. in Dartmouth right after the entrance to the Quansett Nursery. Just follow the dirt road to the parking area. GPS may give you the wrong directions by making you go down to Allens Neck Rd.
