E-Book Review: The Greater Smoky Mountains Photo Guide

Even if you have been to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, or are planning to go, either alone or with a photo group this e-book "Greater Smoky Mountains Photo Guide" is your needed guide to the area.  There is 149 pages packed with information to the best places to photograph in and around the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  Nye Simmons, who lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, has been photographing the park for many years and in his e-book includes hints on photographic technique, many suggestions on planning each day to maximize photography, no matter what the season and there are lessons on the natural history of the area.  The book also includes many beautiful pictures that Nye himself had taken in the park.

Nye takes the various areas in the park and gives directions with mileage to the various features that occur along the road or trail.  For example: Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail; the trail starts at the Bud Ogle Farm, then to the Rainbow Falls Trailhead, Motor Nature Trail, Grotto Falls Trailhead, Ephraim Bales Place, Alfred Reagan Place, and Place of 1000 Drips.

The book also discusses what animals can be seen and locations along with the rules and regulations to protect both the viewer and the animal.

Here are the table of contents to the book.
