Sunset and Beyond

In this blog, I want to reiterate what many other people have said in their blogs and and numerous other sites.  Last evening, finally, a clear sky with some clouds present (no fog), and I went down to Gooseberry to finally capture some sunset photographs.  As you will see from the following photographs, it was a beautiful sunset.  What I thought was most interesting about the evening was there were numerous people who came to look at and taking some pictures of the sunset, and soon as the sun disappeared, they left.  Except for the first pictures in the sequence, all the other pictures were taken after the sun had set.  The colors were spectacular and we had an enjoyable evening photographing and just observing the beautiful scene.  In this picture, a couple was sitting by the rocks near the water and enjoying the sunset.  So remember, sometimes the best colors occur after the Sun goes below the horizon, so stay and keep on photographing and enjoying  The beautiful world that surrounds us.
