Color calibration and camera accuracy can be critical during
a photo shoot. Many photographers work in variable or even uncontrolled
lighting conditions indoors and outdoors. In some cases the photographer
may be working with more than one camera body and would benefit a great
deal when color rendering is consistent across capture platforms. Many
cameras now offer micro-adjustment features which enable a photographer to
fine tune auto focus, achieving the best possible results with each
lens/camera body combination. SpyderLENSCAL makes this adjustment fast,
easy and accurate.
In post-production, display calibration accuracy, whether involving one
display or several, can make or break an editing session. Even a single
display changes over time, and should be calibrated periodically for best results. Many photographers are adding newer, wider-gamut displays to their
studios, and may benefit from updating their older display calibration
devices to newer units.
Join us, May 8, 2013 as Datacolor Color Management Experts David Tobie and
David Saffir discuss the different concerns photographers face with
calibration before they even start a shoot or sit down to edit their
images. They’ll take you through Datacolor’s calibration solutions for
capture and post-production workflow and give real-life examples for
practical usage and improved results.
An interactive Q&A will take place throughout the webinar to answer any
questions you may have.
