It is always interesting to look at the different plumage of birds. On a pair of hen common eiders, I observed two different markings in their plumage. Also, the coloring of their face and beak were different.

Later on one of the hen common eiders had caught a crab and I photograph its efforts to swallow the crab. It is interesting how the eider could swallow a crab that was wider than her beak.
