Down East Maine Workshop Reminder

I want to remind everyone about the Down East Maine Coast Photo Tour and Workshop that John Slonina and myself will be leading at the end of July.  The cost of this trip is $1295 includes Hotel (3 nights stay), puffin boat ride ($120 value) and a Whale and Lighthouse boat ride. Weather permitting

We will do some night sky photography and there are overlapping two meteor showers Delta Aquarids are flying and the Perseid shower is building.

Join us as we travel to the remote Downeast Maine Coast. We will photograph some incredible landscapes including Quoddy Head Light which is the eastern most point in the US. We also will be taking multiple boat rides to see Puffins, Seals, Whales, Eagles, Lighthouses, and other coastal landscapes. We will also visit Campobello Island in Canada.

Other Items You May See on the down East Maine Workshop

Arctic bog With Pitcher Plant Flowers
For those of you who were considering joining John Solina and myself on The Down East Main trip in July, besides towering cliffs, lighthouses, old fishing villages there is even more to photograph. In West Quoddy State Park there is an arctic bog that is a joy to photograph would all the different plants that are present. Among them are sundews, pitcher plants, bake-apple cloud-berry to just name a few.

We will also do some night photography and hopefully you can get some photographs like these which were taken on Cape Cod and in Dartmouth Massachusetts. We will be up in Maine at the time of some meteor showers.
