Moon, Sunrise, and Macros

In today's blog.  I am going to continue with my portfolio of sunrise images that I obtained today.  I used a different perspective, in that the photographs were taken from a low perspective with what I believe interesting foreground.  The interesting thing about the sunrise today is prior to the sunrise, the sky was bright and blue- Prior to SunriseD7K_0390 December 13, 2011 NIKON D7000 and then it turned dark as the Sun came up in the clouds that were present.  This made for an for a different view of the morning.- D7K_0396-Edit December 13, 2011 NIKON D7000

Sunrise with Old Flower heads

Since the moon was still up in the sky and bright, and was now just past the full Moon.  I did obtain a nice photograph, which showed the craters on the moon.- ROT_0283-Edit December 13, 2011 NIKON D3S  I will be teaching a moon photography class during the time of the January full Moon.  I will post the information on my blog over where and when with all the details.

Because it was  below freezing this morning, after I finished taking my sunrise pictures, I traveled to the state forest and spent some time doing some macro photography of the frost on the leaves and on a small shelf fungi.  - D7K_0422-Edit-Edit December 13, 2011 NIKON D7000- D7K_0425-Edit-Edit December 13, 2011 NIKON D7000- Leaves with Frost D7K_0435 December 13, 2011 NIKON D7000- Shelf Fungi with frost D7K_0457 December 13, 2011 NIKON D7000I also obtain a photograph of early ice over the moss in the swamp.  Very interesting effect was obtained.- Ice over Moss in SwampD7K_0462 December 13, 2011 NIKON D7000
